Damien Droney is a Lecturer in the Department of Anthropology at Princeton University. His book manuscript, A Postcolonial Vocation: Herbal Medicine and the Projects of Science in Ghana (forthcoming University of Chicago Press), is an ethnographic study of the professionalization of herbal medicine practice in Ghana. His current research concerns food and nutritional science in Ghana.
