Pía Leavy is a professor and PhD in Anthropology from Buenos Aires University (UBA), Argentina and Assistant Researcher in the National Council for Techniques and Sciences Research (CONICET). She has specialized in research on childcare in intercultural contexts and worked in interdisciplinary teams in research on child malnutrition, parasitic infestations and prematurity and teenage pregnancy prevention. She is a member of Niñez Plural.
