Verónica S. Lema

Verónica Lema holds a degree in anthropology and a PhD in natural sciences from the National University of La Plata. She currently works as a researcher for CONICET at the Institute of Anthropology in Córdoba, based at the Museum of Anthropology at the National University of Córdoba. At the latter institution, she teaches archaeology and nature and material culture studies in the anthropology degree program. Since 2024, she has coordinated the IDACOR Research Group on South American Psychoactive Plants and Entheogens. Her research has focused mainly on the relationships between humans and natural environments through archaeological and ethnographic records from Northwestern Argentina within the general framework of the Southern Andes.
