Emanuele Fabiano holds a PhD in Social Anthropology from the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales (EHESS) in Paris. He is a member of the Centre for Indigenous and Afro-American Studies (CINAF-UB) and an affiliated researcher at the Institute of Nature, Earth and Energy (INTE-PUCP). He has conducted extensive fieldwork among the Urarina people of the Peruvian Amazon, researching the anthropological, social and political effects of extractive processes and their implications at ritual and cosmographic levels. In addition to her his research in Peru, she he also works in the Ecuadorian and Brazilian Amazon. He is co-editor of the books Urban Imaginaries in Native Amazonia: Tales of Alterity, Power, and Defiance and Tsiuni. Nuestras historias silenciadas. Emanuele Fabiano es doctor en Antropología Social por la École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales de París (EHESS). Es miembro del Grupo de Estudios con Pueblos Indígenas y Afroamericanos (CINAF-UB) e investigador afiliado del Instituto de la Naturaleza, Tierra y Energía (INTE-PUCP). Ha realizado trabajo de campo extenso entre los Urarina de la Amazonía peruana y ha investigado los efectos antropológicos, sociales y políticos de los procesos extractivos, así como sus implicaciones a nivel ritual y cosmográfico. Además de su investigación en Perú, trabaja también en la Amazonía ecuatoriana y brasileña. Es co-ed. del libro Urban Imaginaries in Native Amazonia Tales of Alterity, Power, and Defiance< y Tsiuni.
